How to create a Company.csv file

Company.csv file is a file-table, which contains information on the company, whose products (or services) are represented in the catalogue.

Open this file on your computer with Microsoft Office Excel or OpenOffice Calc. File encoding - UTF-8, separator - comma.


The file consists of five columns:


1. "Catalogs Name" - the name of your catalogue of products (or services). It will be displayed on the "Settings" page in the "Name" field. You can make up any name for your catalogue.



2. "About company" - the text about your company, which is further displayed on the "About the company" page. You can write any text about your company. For your convenience we recommend that you first enter the text in any text editor, and then copy and paste it in the appropriate cell in the table. This way you get the text, separated into paragraphs.



3. "e-mail for order" - in this cell of the table you should specify the e-mail, to which users of the application will send their requests (by default) right from this application, regarding whether you have a particular product (or service) available.



4. "Contacts" - in this cell you should specify the contact information of your company. These data will be visible in the application on the "Contacts" page. Contact data can be written in an arbitrary manner. Here you can specify phones, addresses, e-mail addresses of your offices, shops, warehouses, etc. For your convenience we recommend that you first enter the text in any text editor, and then copy and paste it in the appropriate cell in the table. This way you get the text, separated into paragraphs.



5. "Text of catalog"- the text written in this cell will be displayed in the application on the "Catalog" page. For your convenience we recommend that you first enter the text in any text editor, and then copy and paste it in the appropriate cell in the table. This way you get the text, separated into paragraphs.



When you complete all 5 columns, you will have the ready to use file with the information about your company - Company.csv. Save it in a folder on your hosting. Please ensure that it has a read access by a direct link. In order to do so, enter the link like the one below into your browser: "http://yourwebsite.com/folderwithcataloguefiles/Company.csv".
